An original DS radio looks lovely and sounds like a transistor in a biscuit tin, if it works at all. A modern head unit sounds better but looks wrong the moment you sit in the car.

Pallas sound gives you modern audio, including DAB radio, Bluetooth and phone connection, behind a fascia designed to look at home in a DS dashboard.

What's involved

A digital radio fitted behind our own bespoke fascia, designed for the DS dashboard

Speakers placed and sized to suit the car, without cutting into original panels where we can avoid it
Wiring run neatly and safely, separate from the original loom where possible
Options for phone connection and hands-free calling.

We can also repair or recondition an original radio if you'd rather keep the car period-correct.

Why DS-specific expertise matters

The DS dashboard changed several times over the years, and a fascia that fits one version won't fit another. Getting the fit and finish right means knowing which dashboard you've got and how it comes apart without damage.

The electrics need care as well. A poorly installed stereo can drain the battery or, worse, overload old wiring.

We've been working on these cars since 2006 and have looked after many hundreds of them. We know what to look for because we've seen what happens when it's missed.
