The dashboard is the part of the car you look at most, and on many DS it's the part that has aged worst. Years of sunlight crack and warp the plastic and fabric or leather of seats, and gauges and switches stop working one at a time. It's hard to enjoy a beautiful car from the inside when the dash is split down the middle.

We restore the dashboards and Interiors/upholstery so it looks and works as it did when the car was new.

What's involved

Removing the dashboard and assessing the condition of the moulding
Repairing cracks and refinishing to the original colour and texture
Overhauling gauges, switches and warning lights
Checking and repairing the wiring behind the dash while it's out
Changing seats covers with all necessary repairs to their structure

Where a part is beyond repair, we'll source the best replacement available and tell you whether it's original, new old stock or a reproduction.

Why DS-specific expertise matters

Citroën changed the DS dashboard several times, and each version comes apart differently. Removing it without cracking brittle old plastic, or damaging the wiring and heater controls behind it, takes experience.

Reproduction parts vary a lot in quality. Some fit and look right, others are close enough to fool you in a photo but not in the car. Knowing which is which saves you paying twice.

We've been working on these cars since 2006 and have looked after many hundreds of them. We know what to look for because we've seen what happens when it's missed.
